I'm gonna make you a star

Shopping for Mrs J (Part 12) took an interesting turn this week I when I received a call from Liv at GoodGym HQ asking if me and Mrs J would be happy to be filmed when I delivered her groceries. I called Mrs J and explained that a company named Zurich whose HQ is in Swindon had made a generous donation to GoodGym in order for us to be able to continue with our volunteering through the current Covid-19 pandemic. Zurich had requested the film for their internal use to show their staff what we do during our volunteering. Mrs J was more worried about the state of her hair than she was about being filmed. I set off early to go to the supermarket as the arrangement was for me to meet Thom & Archie from Create Studios in Swindon at Mrs J's at 11am with said shopping. With the weather not wanting to make it's mind up I ran up and down the street several times in the sun, the rain and wind to give my film crew (LOL!!) some material to work with. Mrs J's little westie dog was extremely well behaved as I rang her doorbell several times to get my greeting and her response just perfect. After leaving Mrs J in peace I headed over to Coate Water with my crew (LOL!!) where I was filmed running around the lake and still being rained upon. I recieved a lot of interest from the public as I ran with a camera man running and filming beside me. Bet they were trying to figure out who this famous lady was (more LOLs). Thom wanted to interview me but the wind was so incessant that we ended up doing that later on good old Zoom. We then moved on to the local Morrisons even though I do Mrs J's shopping in Sainsburys and stirred up the customers in their car park. Mrs J's hair looked just fine which is more than I could say for mine but I had a fantastic time being a star for a day. Mrs J and I are looking forward the seeing the end results.
