Wednesday Service

Azure sky above and a new task for the folks of GoodGym Newham. We hustled down the Romford road, absorbing a couple of losses in Sharon and Charlotte, but still a decent unit. Our RWQ "What word do you find most useless?" Antidisestablishmentarianism, woke, lit, banter and genre a few rather good choices.

The gang at the church were very keen for our help, once we located the lady driving the project, Sybil, we got the show on the road. She has a low budget (nothing) and not much help, but her objective is to brighten up the church grass borders with an explosion of floral colour. We took the first step towards that yesterday, digging out multiple beds, Dan did most of the work, our very own human plough. Think we made a good first impression on our christian neighbours, not sure I've seen anyone as appreciative after a task as Sybil. We'll head back there on the 6th of September for another bout.
