360 vaccinations today which is a huge achievement. With the new system of patients booking their own appointments it meant that we had some really busy times and some definitely not busy times. The down time gave everyone a chance to grab lunch, a cuppa, a deep breath before the next wave. At one stage there were 13 people queuing outside! To combat this, the surgery opened a 3rd treatment room with Clinical staff running back and forth to cover all 3 rooms. They soon got the queue down with not too many complaints from anyone waiting. For this afternoon’s clinic, Mel ferried patients from the treatment rooms to exit, Sarah was taking temperatures and Eddie and Tracy were taking patients between the church and surgery back door. Sarah and Mel swapped half way through for a bit of a change and we had the usual banter in all areas with all patients being in good spirits. Although it was very cold outside, the sun did peek out for a while.
