This morning's team of Paul, Eddie & John have seen in the launch of the new vaccination system. It was quite a slow morning with the last of the first dose Oxford jabee's. This was intentional as it aloud the new system to be assessed before the arrival of the second wave of Pfizer vaccinees.

John & Eddie manned the post vaccination positions ensuring the vaccinees were directed to either the marquee or the back gate of the church car park.

Paul started of in the sunshine at the back gate of the church which is now being used as the pick up point for patients. It didn't take long for the sun to move around and the church was casting a shadow over him. It was a bit chilly with the breeze.

Last week Cath had spoken to Paul and John about a project she is working on and we thought it might be of interest to some GGer's. The project is Cycling Without Age and basically is about helping the elderly and less mobile members of the community to go on bike rides, albeit with the help of a trained rider (the pilot) and a trishaw. Follow the link for further details.

The flags at the back gate and signs in the marquee reminded us, so we just wanted to include in today's report. I'm not sure about their new poster boy though :-)

Vicki joined us at lunchtime to take on the afternoon shift. Her first vaccination clinic, so good luck to her.
