8 Goodgymmers, 2 kids and one puppy joined Paul and Gus in Loughborough to help out at the Tiny Forest on Holt Drive.

Taking part in yoga, Nick's double helping for the morning, we then set to work to locate 100 trees with small blue tags with a metal disc. Kim, Oliver and Ashley went straight in, the kids sending Kim in first to check for any spikey weeds and nettles, wise trick there! They found one with Oliver then finding another, think it pays to be small in this game. With lots of hunting around Dave came to the conclusion that maybe the magpies like the shiney discs because we only found 3 in total.

Everyone enjoyed being out in the fresh air and lovely to meet one of our newest members' puppy Nova she was just the cutest along with Gus of course. Weldone team so far the event most supported by Goodgymmers, was great to meet Paul and Gus and find out ablout the fantastic work going on with Tiny Forest, weldone Mel on another round of fantastic photos.

6 Goodgymmers enjoyed the evening sun and ran to Baby Basics 2 miles each way, Siânna took on her first run in a long time and did brilliantly! 3 more Goodgymmers met us there ready to get stuck in. Not one but 2 new members this eve Elizabeth and Joe, fantastic start, you both got really stuck in we hope to see you again very soon.

Baby Basics are a charity that provide the essentials to families in need with babies and children. After being welcomed we split into 2 teams upstairs for clothes sorting, downstairs for the cot building. We had some tricky cots this eve, the first 2 we tried to build had pieces missing that we didn't have. Meanwhile the upstairs team were sorting between clothes sizes, boy or girl.

Lots of chat about Stu's new Saucony's, myself winning a rock at a 17 mile fell race and doggy pushchairs!

The session proved how valuable it is to check the equipment before being sent to families in need, we have some cot building experts in the team now we have supported them throughout the year, always a task we look forward to, weldone team.
