9 Westminster GoodGymers ran a storming 8k to Arc Atwood Primary School to move 100 bags of rocks off of the flat roof to allow the next stage of the memorial Garden to take shape.
A huge effort tonight, amazing job from everyone!!
Really rewarding task for an amazing project to remember the life of a student which was way too short.
Zipping 4km out North West with some blasphemous baked bean and crumpet chat along the way! We got to Arc Atwood Primary School.
With no time to waste we got going in a flash. Splitting the squad in two with half the group bringing the big bags of rocks down the stairs while with any number of carrying contraptions the bags were carried out to the front of the school for collection in the morning.
An amazing Pace was maintained getting all the bags down in record time before the final push saw us manage to clear the playground in the nick of time!!
A quick area number 6 picture gave us a chance for a lay down in the playground before an excellent riverside run back to base rounded off a quality GG evening!!
See you next week for some more Riverside action in Little Venice!

12 agile GoodGymers ran a storming 8k to help the Canal And River Trust with our adopted strength of waterway in Little Venice.
Powering out 3.5k to the North West of the Borough lead by the Memory Master Emily!! With codes cracked and all tooled up we got cracking up the canal picking up bucket after bucket of grabable rubbish.
Eagle eyes were needed even with the super moon out in force. Cans to carpet, crisp packets to garden rakes everything was picked and binned!
After 35 minutes of litter picking efforts we had done a fantastic job so with our hands fully sanitised up we we powered our way back to base (faster than the cars along the Marylebone Road) with a task brilliantly complete!!
Next week we are off to St Andrew’s youth club to help them with a few sorting out jobs!
See you there
Joel
