Four Goodgymmers helped the folk at Russell's Park Hub carry out a risk assessment and a thorough litter pick ahead of their Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday.
Kristina and Patrick joined Gramps nice and early for a litter pick of the area in the park, surrounding the cafe to ensure that there weren't any little things that could hurt any of the scores of children that were expected to join the Hunts.
Later on, Rosa joined them to finish completing a risk assessment and support Euclides run the Easter Egg Hunts
Happy Easter

7 tuneful Goodgymmers danced to the Leyla's beat at Living Under One Sun as they lend a hand tonight to make the green outside the cafe safe for guests.
Kudos Corner
Big up for for Kristina and Priyen who were joining us for their first task in a while. They were natural-born-Goodgymmers and eased their way back into it with skill and aplomb. Absolute heroes - please come back again!
The Plot Stickens
Under the constant threat of diluvial downpours, our Goodgymmers made their way, running and walking, to Living Under One Sun where Leyla and the team were waiting for us with open arms and a multitude of tasks.
Luos are hosting a big community party this weekend and the great outside the cafe was looking a little bit worse for wear already. So we were entrusted with giving it a nice facelift and that is what we did.
We cleared the pile upon pile of fallen leaves from the pathways, unrolled and tidied away unruly hoses, cleared the green of sticks (trip hazards), pulled weeds to our hearts content, and helped Leyla put away the plants that will be given away this weekend to encourage neighbours to transform their balconies into micro-gardens.
All the while, Latino-tinged music blasted from the speakers and we danced the night away and before we knew, it was time to go home.
We took some photos and devoured the wonderful spread that the team kindly put out for us. And we headed out into the night, dry as a bone and with the satisfaction of a good job well done!
Join us again next week for more fun....

Waltham Forest Report written by Emily (She/her)
Yesterday we headed to the pump house museum to help paint a new community centre.
Latoya, Louise and Kris arrived at the pumphouse first. While they were waiting to start the main task (painting) they also unloaded a delivery for the museum.
Then the work started on painting (after donning lovely blue boiler suits). The room was very high so some scaffolding had been set up to provide access to the ceiling and higher level. Kristina did an amazing job up high all morning. I arrived fashionably late and helped with painting the lower skirting and walls for a few hours before lunch.
After lunch (in the museum) I headed off and Louise and Kristina carried on with the task. Even by lunch time we could see a big improvement in how the room looked and Sean (who was running the task) said the room was much more inviting than before.
The museum is a lovely place (open to the public on Sundays)! While we were there, some chefs in the cafeteria were prepping for a supper club in a tube carriage, which smelled amazing (better than paint anyway).

Kristina Ivanova earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Kristina completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Kristina was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Haringey Report written by Euclides Montes
15 Goodgymmers, 3 mini-Goodgymers, and 3 paw-fect doggoes went on an epic walk in the woods for funtimes, hilarity, and litter picking.
Everybody Make Some Noise
We welcomed Matt, Kristina, and Great-Gramps himself Euclides Sr for their maiden Goodgym tasks. And they were aces. Boom.
Also, big hello for traveling Goodgymmers Caitlin (GGCamden) and Victoria (GGLewisham) who were fantastic guests. Boom Boom.
Everybody make a big fuzz for mini-Goodgymmers Brody, Theo, and Sebastian who, frankly, made some of our regular full-sized GGers look bad with their zesty and conscientious litter picking efforts. The kids are alright indeed. Boom³
And, last, but in no way least, a big round of applause for the furry ones. And I'm not talking about good ol' Gramps here but the lovely Murphy, Nyx, and Annie who were a joy to walk with. Good dogs! BOOM!
You can all come again!
Plogging And Dogging In North London
If this was a late 90s/early 00s film, the opening scene would look something like a cheerful but frazzled Gramps attempting for the fourth time to get three excitable dogs, three excitable kids, and fourteen excitable Goodgymmers to stand still somewhere in the woods of North London as he pleads for 'at least one good photo' just as the dogs decide to jump away from the shot again - followed by a screen freeze and some jaunty voiceover about how you must be wondering how I got here. The inevitable title that would follow would probably be The Dog's Bollocks, or something equally inappropriate.
Well, it all started with what can only be described as a momentary lapse in sanity when Gramps thought it would be a good idea to get together a group of dogs, kids, and Haringey Goodgymmers - the three groups that occupy the Global Top 3 of most likely groups to disrupt all best-laid plans. After all, the adage goes 'never work with animals, kids, or Haringey Goodgymmers,' for a reason.
I'm, of course, kidding. What a wonderful walk we had.
Our Goddgymmers, kids, and dogs were an absolute joy and armed with litter picks and Christmas songs, we managed to cover nearly 5k of woods - through Highgate Woods, the Parkland Walk, and Alexandra Palace - and collected about two bags full of litter along the way.
Boom.
If you liked what you saw, join us on Wednesday for more shenanigans. And we'll have our social on the 14th December - you definitely don't want to miss that!
Right, now, if we get a producer interested in getting The Dog's Bollocks off the ground, who would play you on the film. I wonder....
