Ok, it wasn't quite a massacre (or anywhere near to be fair) but just for a glimpse of a second, when Eloise was holding the hedge trimmer with intent, I was slightly cautious haha.
It was a glorious evening at Sprowston Nursery. Amanda was there to greet us and had a an array of tools for us to use.
The goal was to clear the garden area used by the toddlers - trimming back the hedge, weeding, cutting back stinging nettles and strimming the grass.
I love the photo at the end when we attempted to spell 'GoodGym' with our hands. Well done Maddy for figuring out how to do a G!

This is probably one of my worst puns but heyhoe!
This evening we returned to Somerleyton Gardens to spread some manure over the vegetable patch, lay some more bark on the paths and erect a little boarder fence.
It was a great end to the bank holiday weekend and was followed by a trip to a local pub, not The Bell for once!

Tonight 12 GoodGymers & 1 dog ran 5km to help clean up the Lakenham Way.
When we arrived Bek handed us each litter pickers and bin liners, and directed us in pairs to the areas most in need of a tidy up.
Amongst the finds this week were a discarded umbrella, a bike tire and a used homework book!
After 45 mins we had filled 9 bin bags ready to be collected, before we made our way back to the Forum.
Shout out to Elizabeth who celebrated her big birthday with her 150th Parkrun last week, and also Alina who will be running her 200th Parkrun this weekend!

Myself, Poppy, Eloise, Woody and Jonathan headed to Somerleyton Gardens.
Poppy and Eloise did an amazing job clearing and raking over the garden bed area while the boys did a litter pick.
Once we had completed the said tasks, we all then helped to lay some shingle down, which really enlightened the gardens.
