I have been a GoodGym member for several years and when I have moved house - I have moved GoodGym area. This has always been a really great way to meet new people and discover a new area. It’s one of the best and most satisfying ways to make new friends and get involved in the community. Some of the people you chat to- other members, other mission supporters and the elderly are so fascinating! You come back home after some good exercise and often new knowledge ;) I have run in many countries across the world, and throughout my life I have wanted to get straight into the community. I am a qualified First Aider and training to be a PT. Working on your body, mind and soul of the community - is often better than chocolate - though still great with a chocolate treat.
It was lovely to meet another friendly face in the community today! Mr S had a shopping list all prepared and ready to go! By meeting him and doing some of his essential shopping - not only did I have a lovely chat with someone I don’t see everyday - but I also explored a little more of Barnet! Fab way to start the weekend ;)
Tiffany has just run their first 10k. 10,000 metres would take you most of the way across London. It's far. Tiffany now knows a bit of what it might be like to be Mo Farah.
Tiffany has helped keep other people motivated, Tiffany has noticed what others have done and cheered 10 people. We doff our caps to you Tiffany.
