Sarah is part of a crowd that's making a huge noise. Sarah has been cheered by 25 people - that's a round of applause just on their own. We hope they keep it up.

Twice as Nice

Barnsley Report written by Rachael (GoodGym Barnsley)

This week, 3.5 GoodGymmers set out for a double task in Barnsley. We combined dropping charity bags for the RSPCA with delivering leaflets for Barnsley Youth Choir.

We were joined by one of the RSPCA trustees and his little boy, who provided great morale for the evening. We also enjoyed some lovely views in Wilthorpe Park.

A good two in one tonight - twice as nice!

Brushing up well

Barnsley Report written by Rachael (GoodGym Barnsley)

7 Barnsley GoodGymmers met up on this splendid evening to help the Friends of Locke Park with some maintenance.

A few of us met early for a socially-distanced walk around the park (too hot to run this evening!), then we all met up together with the Friends of Locke Park for some maintenance of the sand pit. After a good day's play by the local children, the sand often needs sweeping back into the pit ready to be enjoyed the next day. Using the big brushes counted as our arm workout for the evening. There were a few spots of litter around so a good spot of litter-picking was done too.

It was one of our biggest get-togethers since lockdown and it was lovely to start catching up in person.
