Take a bow Living Well

Bromley Report written by Ian Moore

The team at Living Well deserve a massive round of applause. On arrival, we (Fleur, Kimberly & Ian) were just open-mouthed at how many bags were already set out ready for distribution in the coming days. A bit difficult to count exactly, but perhaps about 400? And, with their typical generosity, the team were already making arrangements for other outlets in the area like Melvin Hall to get 50 of the bags for their beneficiaries.
PS - one of the treats of helping these guys is that they also give away things like the alcoholic mince pies which can't go in the food bags. So that's me sorted me for a few days hic!

Kimberley earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.

Kimberley completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Kimberley was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

May your walls be merry and bright

Lambeth Report written by Samantha

Three of us popped into Lavendar Hope at lunchtime to continue painting the walls ready for when the community hall opens. Kimberley took charge of a very small room but made a big difference. Me and Emily ended up doing a second coat in the women's toilets managing to socially distance while cutting in and manoeuvring a ladder around.

I'm not sure any of us got away paint-free, but we were assured by the folk there that the paint would wash out. Fingers crossed!
