Heidi has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Heidi is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.
Heidi earned their community cape by completing their first community mission. 🥳

Heidi earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Heidi completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Heidi was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

This morning, a band of plucky runners met up to help out at Burgess parkrun.
Despite the intense weather, some sort of popular sports game, two other enticing parkrun tasks, and the idea of a lovely lie in, we made it out to help out with the morning's run. We filled a range of positions, including finish funnel support, timekeeping, barcode scanning and marshalling.
Over 300 people absolutely smashed it and started their mornings with a beautiful 5000 meters of rain and glory, and we were all chuffed to bits to help them achieve that. We all headed off for the rest of our days, including rugby watching, brunches, extra missions, racing and fireworks - all well deserved!

Was so fun volunteering with you guys today! Now v much looking forward to volunteering with GoodGym as well as parkrun ☺️
