We were certainly off to a flyer for our first joint Stadium Runners/GoodGym session. Eight of us swiftly dispatched some 500 flyers promoting the Forget Me Not Hospice Colour Run through letterboxes in and around the Gledholt and Springwood areas.
Great to have Julie Wooton, Janet Shaw, Ian Du Feu and John Cottam along for the first time, in addition to established GoodGymmers Kati Law, Ben Godfrey and Alison Cottam. It was nice too to discover that I hadn't lost my touch and could still show the Stadium Runners one or two streets in Huddersfield they didn't know existed!
Thanks folks....great fun, a good job done and an excellent effort from all. Really good to have the Stadium Runners along as part of the group. Looking forward to next month's session already!

Sun, rain and jolly big hailstones, we had it all at GoodGym tonight. But the slightly inclement conditions didn't stop us weeding and spreading loads of woodchip in the Tiny Forest.
Thanks to Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, Graham Browning and Emma for their efforts this evening.

More clay court preparation at Grove Tennis Club this evening. We sifted, spread, swept and rolled, which gave us a cracking workout. Our efforts have certainly helped the club by leaving their courts looking lovely for the coming season.
Thanks to super sifters, Kati Law and Emma Birkby Geddes, roller man Graham Browning and Ben Godfrey who was a super sweeper. Great work team.

It was our final night on the greenway, litter picking and rubbish shifting. Over the past 10 weeks our project has been to clean a section of the Birkby Bradley cycleway, and leave it looking a lot better.
We removed over 100 black bags of rubbish in that time, and shifted countless pieces of fly tipped trash, including sofas, beds and car wheels.
Thanks to all the GoodGymmers who have helped us our with the job, including Ben Godfrey and Graham Browning who helped out tonight.
