To the tune of Oasis - don't look back in anger
#Steps and sythes for an hours time, Don’t think we could find, A better place to clear, You want to plant some trees, So you offered us tea, To sythe away...
So we sythed, we lopped and don't chop any heads, We cleared the brambles off the path oh yeah, Step through here, you'll no longer get spiked, Stand up and not slip over now, We cleared the litter too oh wow, The sun shon to thaw us all out...
And so g'gymers must go, Julia knows that we can't stay forever, But it shows how much can be done, But don't lop back in anger I heard you say!#
We helped at the Northern Slopes and had a great time! Thanks for having us! It was good having a task where we could see how much we had cleared and achieved.
Thanks to Chris for the pun! Lyrics by Chris and Clo.

Azzurra earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Azzurra completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Azzurra was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

It was a beautiful, sunny day and a fantastic group of goodgymers assembled at mud Dock to run the short run to Dame Emily Park (DEP). We welcomed Michael joining us for the first time.
After a short Clo warmup, including skipping and swimming backwards we powered over to the park.
Ursula had plenty for us to do; turning and moving compost, litter picking, cutting back hedges and lots of planting were some of the jobs we undertook. Another task was not getting knocked over by the skateboarders who were getting ready for a skateboarding event. We had a successful, productive session and we happily finished with drinks and biscuits. Ursula invited all goodgymers to a volunteers celebration on 9th November which will have mulled wine.
What a lovely morning, it was good to see you all!
Lastly, good luck Jenny with Bristol half marathon tomorrow!
