Unfortunately our planned task at the Baby Bank had to be postponed till next month.

So instead we got kitted out and set off to a known problem spot for litter - a foot & cycle path along the A12 towards the Green Man roundabout. The head torches bobbing about on the walk/jog there seemed like miners helmets, hence the title reference 😇

Chatting along, time flew by and all too soon it was time to call it for the evening, with 7 bags full of rubbish collected. That stretch is not finished by far, but we will be back another day.

Bags dropped at a council bin, we set off for a run around the Leyton Flats before returning to base, job well done.

As mentioned above, Baby Bank is back on the books for next month, Monday 6 March - SIGN UP HERE if you want to join in!

P.S.... Liz - we kept up the tradition in finding your special kind of litter once again!
