5 hardworking and determined goodgymer's set out on a mission to help Foxwood Residents Association weed their unruly flower bed. Nikki running from the far away lands of Heworth, Bec and Rich both cycling across town and Amy and Ed er... driving because poor little Fergie the dog can’t run that far (or so they exclaim!)

The resident’s flowerbed was once set for great heights, about to be entered into a community competition. But, alas lockdown hit and those unruly weeds saw their chance.

We arrived to worrisome weeds of all kinds: devilish dandelions, brutal bindweed and terrifying thistles. The fantastic five (plus fabulous Fergs) took the weeds in their stride and soon after the nectar-ful flowers had regained control.
