On a day which surprised me with the full spectrum of British weather (rain, wind, roasting sunshine, what's not to love?), I was tasked with restoring Ms. S's garden so that she can sit out in the sunshine with her daughter. Working quickly, I emptied out an old planter, removing the weeds and old soil and filled it with new soil ready for new plants.

With a little bit of guidance, I weeded the back flower beds, clearing it so it was nice and ready for some of the gorgeous plants. Whilst exploring the soil, I did uncover a lot of rather angry ants (who did have a minor nibble on me). However, I was able to clear the bed and plant the shrubs in quick time.

The garden is already looking much neater and hopefully Miss S and her daughter can now spend time together whilst the weather is nice.

There's still some trimming of plants to do and a fence which may need a lick of paint but above all, I made good progress. :)
