A really relay muddy race

6 GoodGym runners from both GoodGym Coventry and Leamington/Warwick and one guest headed to Warwick University campus to take part in the Warwick Relays 2019. Organised by Warwick University Athletics Club, this 3.3km cross country route was a perfect opportunity to try out the new trail shoes and remind ourselves that those GoodGym fitness sessions are making a difference to our running!

The course was wet and muddy throughout, with plenty of puddles to splash through, slippery turns, a ditch and a considerable hill just before the finishing straight. With soaking wet feet and muddy legs, we cheered the other runners over the finish line before posing for a post-race photo under a lovely autumnal tree.
