Bournemouth

Mission

To me, to you!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bournemouth.

Mr N needed a wardrobe moving from an upstairs bedroom to the downstairs living room so that he could easily access his belongings.

When Sarah and I arrived, we were quite relieved to see a relatively short wardrobe, however it was a very heavy, sturdy piece of furniture!

Mr N has a stairlift, which we thought we could use to our advantage to help us get the wardrobe down the stairs, but after lots of heavy lifting and shifting in different positions whilst Sarah tried to balance on the stairs (!!), unfortunately we weren't able to complete the task.

After convincing Mr N not to attempt it himself, Sarah took some photos to send to HQ and we assured Mr N that although we couldn't sort it out today, someone would be back to get the job done for him.

It's always disappointing not being able to complete a mission, but we had a good workout this morning thats for sure!
