This morning 4 GG members carried out volunteering duties at the junior park run.

Wayne was on barcode scanning duties, Richard was one of the official time keepers while Anne & Eddie were out on the course carrying out Marshall duties cheering and motivating the runners around the 2k course.

Regular volunteers James & Adam could not join us today as they were taking part in the ASICS 10k up in town, good luck to them and I’m sure we will hear all about it next week….🏃🏼‍♂️💨

On this sunny morning 98 runners took part. With the 1st finisher finishing in an amazing 7:32. There were also an incredible 24 PB’s. Week on week many of these young runners are achieving PB’s which is great to see.

After such a great running from everyone many got a well deserved ice cream from Mr Carlos our regular ice cream van man 🍦, its never to early for an ice cream. 😋

This coming Wednesday we will be running along the canal to Brockhill care home carrying out some gardening duties. It will be a beautiful evening be sure to sign up.
