This morning was looking miserable with heavy rain overnight but 75 eager children and their families and 32 volunteers still valiantly made it out for the 173rd Woking Junior Parkrun.

Thankfully the rain held off during the run and 16 of our young athletes managed to achieve a PB despite the large puddles.

I took care of the first timers welcome and was one of 3 scanning the barcodes. Katie and Victoria were on marshal duties and Rich reprised his regular role as timekeeper.

Next week is a special event at Woking Junior Parkrun as it is the 5th birthday celebrations. Do come along to take part and enjoy the festivities.
