Seven Goodgymers went to Global Gardens and found an Oasis. Poppy of Global Gardens was assisting Oasis Cardiff with installing their new vegetable planters and Goodgym were on hand to help with the heavy lifting.

Aimee, Andrew, Emma W, Emma DB, Fiona, Mikey and Nathan arrived at Oasis on a very hot evening and enjoyed the calm before the storm. They were soon to action shifting soil and compost from the delivered bags to the planters.

A system of diggers and shifters got their hands dirty (some literally) moving the soil and in just over an hour completed the mission.

All in all nearly 4 tonnes of soil and compost now fills the planters which will hopefully be abundant with vegetables for Oasis Cardiff; for locals to garden and to be used to produce their delicious food.

A two for one for Goodgym helping its local area; it’s a dirty job but Goodgym are happy to do it.

Thanks to Emma W for the pun.
