GGB parkrun volunteer takeover

On an extremely cold morning six of us gathered at Gladstone park to help out at the parkrun event and do some promo for our awesome group.

We were split as follows:

• Pete, Liz, Sabina, Tabitha - marshalling +cheering

• Samina - token sorting (and she did the parkrun - amazing!)

• Pritesh - finish token support

I did a quick intro on goodgym and the brent group and then everyone set off. The marshalls kept warm as the temperatures dropped by cheering as much as possible whilst doing various exercises to keep warm too.

I struggled as I couldn't keep my gloves on to help with finish tokens but we got through it and made sure everyone got their tokens in the right order

Samina amazingly did the parkrun and then got straight on to helping out sorting the tokens once they had been returned.

Once we were all done, we said goodbye to Pete and then headed off to the starter session at Clitterhouse Farmhouse.
