As the Charlton park run was not going ahead last week due to the icy weather, we have created a festive theme with bells and Christmas clothings and trimmings, bringing up a memorable Christmas Eve’s morning run.

A relatively dry and slightly warmer weather, supported by a great team to mark the day. 125 runners and walkers participated. With the help from Martin, the marshal; Jen, the run director; Pieter, in charge of the closing down; Steve, the coordinator and myself who checked the event course, which has made a success for the event.

Some children were dressed up in a reindeer and Christmas jumpers, which was a great fun!
