It was a gorgeous morning when us Volunteers arrived at Catton Parkrun but come 8.40 the heavens opened and it didn’t stop until 9.10, so by the time 255 started they were soaked. So many Christmas dressed runners squelched their way around this 5K course today, mud everywhere including the boggy finish funnel where I was timekeeper today. See photos for some fab costumes. Our very own Goodgymers Kevin B was dressed as an elf complete with felt shoes which I would imagine were thrown in the rubbish bin when he’d cycled home! Robert, Bobby, Bill, Andy and Panda Dave also ran the course today (see photo of them having a natter at the end) a good GG turnout. Well done everyone running, and a big thank you to all those volunteers at all the Parkrun’s today, without volunteers Parkrun’s couldn’t go ahead. Happy Christmas everyone 🎄🎅🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️
