'Twas the parkrun before Christmas ....

2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Norwich parkrun in Norwich.

This morning Michelle was the Run Director. As you can see from the photos she was pretty happy to be wielding the loud speaker! The power Michelle, the power!

I on the other hand signed up last minute and was given a mallet to whack in the parkrun flag! To be fair I'd never done it before so I was quite happy! I also briefed the marshals with their walkie - talkies.

Today was super wet with lots of puddles, but after the second lap round the sun began to shine.

Michelle kept an eye on the whole course making sure everyone was supported and things went smoothly. I jumped onto finish tokens and enjoyed shouting 'tokens, tokens for everyone!!!!!'

Michelle went into the cafe at the end to do the job of uploading and sorting the results. Michelle is also taking home all the tokens to check and prepare for Christmas day parkrun ...
