Cally Course Marshals

On a beautiful brisk Sunday morning, 5 Islington Goodgymmers (including first timer Charlotte- welcome!) gathered at the clock tower in Caledonian Park, along with other hi-viz volunteers. Together, we set up the free weekly timed 2km loop for Junior parkrun, around the perimeter of the park, open for children from ages 4-14 years old and for participating parents (often working hard to keep up with speedy little ones!).

Emily arrived a bit earlier than the rest of us, and was offered the best marshalling role- tailwalker (with additional tiger tail)!

A smashing way to start a Sunday morning- we will be back again next week!
