Birmingham's second mission went well, and it was the same pioneering duo as I met Fiona for another garden tidy. I met my fellow missionary at Babbs Mill Lake to run a mile and back to Mrs M. We found that it was our favourite type of weeding required, with the obvious ones pointing out of the cracks. We blitzed away at them and lots of spiky thorns around the hedges, before sweeping up and filling her green bin with lots to take away. Mrs M was delighted, even though there was a lot more to do, so I hope she can get us sent back out to do more. This is going to be Fiona's last run for a while before she has surgery, so I wish her all the best and hope she doesn't get too jealous in her recuperation watching us all run through Strava.
