TRAID
TRAID (Textile Reuse and International Development) is a UK charity working to tackle and solve the problems caused by producing, consuming and disposing of clothes. We do this by providing convenient ways for the public to reuse clothes while delivering education to people of all ages to raise awareness of the powerful environmental and social benefits of reducing our clothing footprint. The funds we raise are committed to global projects benefiting the people and places making our clothes. The work we support aims to improve environmental and social outcomes from supporting cotton farmers grow organic cotton to helping retailers to eliminate child labour in their supply chains. Most of the funds are raised through our charity shops, and in order to do so, we hold five Sale periods a year across our eleven branches, these last approximately 2-3 weeks. The last day of the Sale, after closing time, we need to pack the leftovers and leave the shop clear for it to be restocked the following day, here is where your teams can be of much help.

Who Are You Wearing?!

TRAID (Textile Reuse and International Development) is a UK charity working to tackle and solve the problems caused by producing, consuming and disposing of clothes. And their Wood Green store needs some help to get the floor ready for the next cycle of clothes. Come and help us sort out clothes, pack away hangers, and generally imbibe in some awesome ol' school GoodGym vibes. It'll be great!

We're really cool. Really!

GoodGym is a community of runners that combine getting fit with doing good. We stop off on our runs to do physical tasks for community organisations and to support isolated older people with social visits and one-off tasks they can't do on their own.

Go on, you know you want to!

We'll be meeting at Blue House Yard, run, do a good deed - all within 90 minutes. We meet at 6.45pm and leave by 7.00pm.

If you are new to all this, don't be shy and don't be worried about feeling left out, we make everyone feel very welcome. We welcome runners of all abilities and never leave anyone behind. If you have any questions please email me on euclides@goodgym.org

See you there!

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

5km total distance

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
