I'm inclined to say that we enjoyed that

Devon seems nice...rolling hills, quirky seaside towns and a few thousand runners. Ella proved her upcoming Manchester Marathon fitness with a 1 hour 36 minute and 54 seconds beasting of the course and I came 5th (small field) with a 39 minute 10k.

The beauty of not knowing a course is the surprise hills...a few steady inclines to get your legs burning and heart up with welcome descents. Starting in Paignton and heading to Torquay for one or two laps depending on your chosen distance, the views of the sea, cruise ships and spectators was great.
