OLD PICTURE!

I was pleased to go to the Salvation Army in Camberwell, a regular GoodGym Southwark task location pre-Covid. It turned out to be just me who could make it there in the afternoon, quite a contrast to the often 20 strong crowd they were used to welcoming! I was asked to clean as many indoor windows as I could. For years they had had a window cleaner who charged them a nominal fee and loved doing it for them. Unfortunately he'd recently been forced to retire for medical reasons, which is why they asked us. I'm sure I didn't match the standards they were used to, but I enjoyed it nonetheless It was a nice and quiet task, and I was grateful to be sheltered from the thunderstorm. Afterwards I decided to walk home because of achy legs after a long long run at the weekend. Somehow I managed to time it perfectly, and didn't get rained on :)
