What a wonderful afternoon at Jubilee House tending to the allotment and mowing the lawns.

Karen, Nigel, Claire, Maurice & Emily really got stuck in with a variety of tasks ticked off:

Lawns cut Beds Weeded Potatoes Covered Courgettes Planted Beetroot Planted Cornflowers Planted Border Digging Started

The hi-light of the afternoon was the beautiful wooden spoons that had been lovingly hand painted by Eva (Claire's little girl) and kindly supplied by Karen. They looked really lovely when all labelled up and popped into the bed to help identify the different plants. Great work Eva!

I really am so proud of everything our lovely team has achieved so far with the project. They have planned, prepped, built, measured, dug, pruned, mowed, swept and planted. The Wishing Well garden has had a new lease of life and the veggies that we grow go back into the community kitchen for the meals they prepare.

Well done team. Another awesome task done x
