Every day we're shovellin'
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Liverpool.

The day dawned dry and bright, perfect conditions for shovelling a ton of soil and wood chippings.
Liam took charge of a rather worn and wobbly garden truck and began the slow, painful task of shifting top soil from the raised bed area, to the school's poppy garden. Usually this would be a pretty straight forward job, but at over 6 foot, Liam had to grapple with a child-size spade and a truck with only two working wheels...🤔.
Meanwhile, Pauline started to prepare the flower bed to receive the soil. Some shoring was required, so we utilised a number of wooden discs that we'd been asked to remove.
This is a task that keeps on giving, as we have been asked to return on a regular basis, if possible, to work with the Eco Warriors, a group of pupils committed to improving the school grounds.
