Haha... no Jay! No!

True story though... plastic packaging, food wrappers, carrier bags... Valentines Park provided the perfect post-storm meeting point. The council had taken the decision to close the park yesterday; with this in mind we put on our Sunday Best and run down the road from Barnardo's HQ to the park.

Met in the park by Sharon and Julia we got to work while having a chat, a few opportune pic's and our natural scramble for misplaced rubbish. Julia was kind enough to point out a whole array of botanical delights while we meandered around the lake.

In total the run clocked up 4miles/6.4KM, plus a 1mile/1.6KM litter pick and 2 bin bags full of litter.

No worries. It has been an extremely energising way to start off a Sunday.
