3 GoodGymers went to help out St Nicks with their weekly evening tasks. Today was unfortunately the last of these sessions signifying the darker nights and approaching end of summer. However they have been great sessions and I'm sure St Nicks will have enough work for us over the winter to keep us busy!

Along with other St Nicks regulars we got stuck straight in with scythes, rakes and pitchforks. Looking at the neatly cut grass you would believe we were experts at scything (we being Emily and Debs of course). By the end of the session we were able to get the whole area scythed and tidied up despite our initial reservations about the size of the area!

As a nice surprise Emily baked a delicious cake made with blackberries grown at St Nicks. Definitely deserves a double good deed for that!
