Session one at St Mary’s church & Duncan, Lucy & Barbara had made a head start removing a gate before being joined by John & Sue who’d run over from the parkrun start whilst broken boned Belinda drove over ready to take charge! Soon everyone was working hard clearing the garden next to the church with Pam, Malcolm and some extra helpers all joining in. John & Sue cleared the ground, Barbara set to work de-ivying the trees whilst taking care not to disturb a birds’ nest & Duncan & Lucy cleared ground & recycled the gates to create a compost area as the wheelie bins overflowed with all the hard work. It was thirsty work & Pam & Malcolm had provided refreshments but these Desparados soon created an empty bottle pile too!
