On a stunning Saturday morning a small but eager team comprising of Sue and Emily together with myself, John and Belinda headed up to meet our task hosts Pam and Malcolm at St Mary's church in Goring.

Unfortunately Belinda's knee was really playing her up after she attempted a #not a parkrun just 2 weeks after knocking it getting out of the bath. Little did we know at this point that she had actually broken a small bone in it. No wonder she could hardly walk! Thank goodness we put her on photo rather than crowbar duty.

Our task today was to dismantle a shed behind the church. This proved to be as challenging as it looked. Thank goodness for our super hero John who ploughed all his expertise into the job. Years of tennis or similar activity ( ooh la la ) has given him an impressive forceful hand movement which soon meant that it was mission accomplished.

Sue, Emily and I help shift the debris behind the shed together with various other important duties. Malcoms height proved very useful in this task as did Pam's organisational and operational strengths.

Wishing our very own Mrs R a very speedy recovery . Make sure you use that crutch to prod John for whatever you need :)

I love the concept of getting physically and mentally fit whilst combining it with helping others. I run most days.
