Who this task will support
Scope
Scope is a national disability charity that campaigns to challenge and change negative attitudes about disability and provides direct services. The organisation was founded in 1952 by a group of parents and social workers who wanted to ensure that their disabled children had the right to a decent education

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

Scope is the disability equality charity, providing practical information and emotional support when it's most needed as well as campaigning to create a fairer society.

Our team has helped out at the Scope shop in Liverpool on a number of occasions, sorting donations that will later be sold and raise money for this much needed charity.

As the sorting area is very small, this task is capped at a maximum of 6 volunteers. You must wear a mask and your own gloves during this indoor task.

Due to the new covid-19 lockdown regulations, sadly this Community Mission is no longer possible. We look forward to helping at Scope again once their shop reopens. Thanks for your understanding.

We desperately need some help in our Liverpool store, its a big store and a few of our volunteers have moved on and found paid employment now, which is fabulous they have gained employment as often people volunteer with us to gain experience and confidence to get them back into employment. However this does effect our ability to process stock levels whilst we source new volunteers, any help in our store would be greatly appreciated!

We are based on Lord Street in the city centre.
