Mountain of Donations

I went along to the Walsall Branch of Scope today to help sort through donations. As shown in the photos, they have had loads of donations and really appreciated the help.

I started by sorting through bags fulls of DVD's, CD's and games and ensured they were genuine and in good condition. After this, I helped move some of the bags of donations around so that they were within reach and could be sorted. There have been so many donations that I had to climb atop some in order to reach those further back. I then helped to tidy the shop, for instance picking up clothes which had fallen from their hangers, and finished up organising some rails of clothes according to size.

It was lovely to meet the shop manager and other volunteers and I'm looking forward to going back.
