Avoiding shelfishness

Today I visited the Scope charity shop in Walsall for the first time, to help out. After getting a quick tour and signing in with Andrea, I joined in with her task for the morning.

We spent most of the hour moving the CDs and DVDs from one side of the shop to the other. This meant emptying the shelves and attaching them to the wall on the other side, which would have been easier if the racking was level and if the attachments weren’t bent. However, we got out the trusty tool to help with the fine tuning, a good old hammer to bend it back into shape.

Once this was cleared, we looked through the fabrics which had been taken down and I bagged up the stock that had been out for a long time so that new stock could go out to freshen things up.

The time flew by and I had a quick browse before I left, picking up some clothes to carry back on a run to the car. I finished off the morning with a beautiful run in nearby Walsall Arboretum.
