David, Ben, Tousif and I descended upon the Birmingham Central Foodbank today, along with other members of the Foodbank team to help sort out donations. It was a very busy night as we had a large amount of donations, which all had to weighed before being sorted - so we quickly got to work!

There were lots of heavy cases of tinned food today so we got the additional bonus of a good workout. We seemed to have an endless amount of spaghetti hoops - hence todays pun. We also had a massive amount of Quorn lunch pots, which apparently left Tousif "feeling quorny" - though I'm not quite sure what he meant by that! Finally, the food items we had sorted were dated, before being sorted again into date order. With so much to do, it was the end of the shift before we knew it and time to go home - but not before a socially distant group photo!
