So after the news we are now in another lockdown I decided it is now time to do as many missions as I can in the next 6-8 weeks to help those who are vulnerable and isolated, whether this is walking, running or cycling to help with these missions. A great start to 2021 by being able to help out in the community. Now we are in another lockdown and Tier 5 there will be a lot more people who are vulnerable and isolated at this time. On the way to the task I called Mrs P to check the shopping list and off I went to find the local Co-Op where I got everything on the list. I walked with the shopping and when I got to the door I rang the bell and said it’s Dee from Good Gym. She sounded really happy. I wished her a happy new year and asked how Christmas was for her. We had a little chat and she said she had been in hospital and not well but was recovering. She was really grateful to me. I told her hopefully it will get better for her in 2021 and if she needs anything to contact Age UK who will contact Good Gym. She said thanks and god bless for taking time out of my day. I left and walked home thinking how lucky I am to be healthy at this time and to take one day at a time and to keep on signing up to missions in my area. Xx
