St Peter-in-the-Forest Community Centre & Church
Since November 2019, we have been in rebuild mode. We were blessed to receive a large grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund of money raised from National Lottery players right across the country. This will help renovate and reorder our church building as part of our major five-year activity plan. When the dust settles we are not going to slow down: our church will become a busy centre for community arts, community gardening, community cooking, and community history. Whoever you are and whatever your story is, you will find a place with us in our corner of Epping Forest.

St Peter-in-the-Forest This is a community centre and church area that aims to create a space for community arts, community gardening, community cooking, and community history. Their historic churchyard is a fantastic area for local wildlife and nature.

Redbridge & Waltham Forest collaboration We want to use this location to bring both of our GoodGym areas and communities together so that we get to know each other, meet new friends and join forces for future missions in both areas.

How can we help Currently this centre is after some gardening help, whilst the church is being renovated, and therefore the usual gardening tasks are waiting to be completed - weeding, planting, clearing historical graves, creating a conservation area for birds, insects and other wildlife.
