Fresh Air Festival (FAF) is a street performance festival with community at the heart of it. It’s a chance to get outdoors and enjoy some pure unfiltered silliness with your family and friends in the beautiful town of Brightlingsea. We’ve got festival HQ on the field next to the Lido. Here you can expect to find acrobatics, a 40ft inflatable whale with storytelling, a roller skating juggling show, all day rounders, face painting + more! Along the promenade we’ve got a 6-piece brass band playing 90’s and 00’s club classics (we’re looking at you millennials!), a very large walkabout lobster and a cod choir! Not to mention some beach hut art, craft & mosaic making. At Bateman’s Tower all ages are invited to operate a 12ft tall George the Dragon for grand display of hand cranked contraptioneering. At The Sailing club there’s a sand artist live sculpting something beautiful and don’t forget, a sandcastle competition, so get your buckets and spades at the ready! IT’S TIME TO GET SILLY!
How are you getting there?
