1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

Today one goodgymmer (me) went to islington to drop off a prescription for Ms. E which I was picking up from the pharmacy. I thought this was going to be one of the easiest missions I had done, and was wondering what I was going to write in the run report. I fully intended on padding this run report out with what I was doing during quarantine (more on this later). The only thing I could think of was how pointy my elbows are because I was using them to press the crosswalk buttons (and incidentally the only picture I took).

Boy was I wrong about the uneventful nature of this task! There was a couple of issues with the information that was provided, and with a phone that was running out of battery, I had to make a frantic couple of phone calls to the cracking Goodgym SWAT team to help me out. (This information mix up is the second time this has happened in over 220 missions completed, and displays just how amazing the goodgym team are at what they do.) I was pretty stressed, given that Ms E was running out of tablets tomorrow. Thanks to the pharmacist who patiently waited till I got the information together, and the help of the lovely Goodgym team, I managed to make it to Ms E's house. Watching her smiling face as I dropped off her prescription made me really happy. I bellowed some instructions about the prescription to her, disinfected both the medication and her door handles and was off on my merry way.

Back to what I am doing whilst I'm in quarantine (apart from goodgym), I have baked baguettes (I'm supposed to be doing other things, so I call this procasti-baking) and made my lovely housemate help me put up pictures. Also because I have no useful skills in the fight against this awful virus, I have decided to wage another war - against limescale. When this quarantine is over, I invite you all to admire my calcium carbonate free taps and have a smooth limescale free cup of tea. Stay safe and healthy goodgymmers.
