It was a warm September morning and two GoodGymmers wended our way to the heart of the Plumstead lands to paint a fence at Glyndon Community Centre with our mascot, baby Arthur in tow.

*Kudos to you, Tom who travelled all the way from York to run a London Parkrun and braved the Woolwich foot tunnel to reach our task! *

We painted one side of the fence in a fresh coat ready for our gang to come back next week to paint the other side. Sadly the before and after photos don't do justice to the fruit of our labour but we left it a lot fresher than when we arrived (which is more than can be said for me...what a hot day!)

Great to meet you, Tom and hopefully see you when you're next down South.

Job well done!

Lovely to meet you too - have taken the unofficial earworm from this morning all the way back to Yorkshire as a trophy too :)
