I returned to the TAWS foodbank for a third morning in a row, running across the city with a bagful of plastic bags which had piled up from online shopping and will be very useful for food parcels. My job today was to decant rice and pasta from the catering size 5kg bags into portions more suitable for individual food parcels. After two hours in the back room I had filled a crate with pasta and another two with rice. I took my chance then to run back home, a little lighter having left my donated bags.
