I spent the first part of my time restocking the food parcel area for the volunteers coming in to pack. I then spent the next two hours getting food parcels ready for rehoused homeless people in hotels with Vicky, Chloe and Jackie. In a wonderful move, Vicky had brought in crates of freshly baked bread from a bakery in Stirchley. They had gone further than simply donating excess bread, which would have been generous enough and well received, but they had baked this batch especially for donating to these people. Along the way I managed to jeopardise the operation by dropping a box of eggs, but thankfully there was more than we needed. Also in excess was the bread, one of which I was given to thank me for my time. It survived the run home so I took a photo to show the quality of this generous donation.
