Packing Stations

GROAD (Get Rid Of And Donate) asked for GoodGym to come to help with their Sunday session between 13:00-14:30, where they receive donations from the public, but they also use this time to sort out clothing and pack a suitcase or bag's worth of essential items for the homeless.

These bags comprise of a couple of shirts, t-shirts, sweaters/fleeces, pair of shoes, towels and a blanket. An emergency "starter" kit as we are only a step or two away from that reality.. people would appreciate a little help in hand.

Jessica, Matt (first timer 🙌🎉) and I showed up to help Susan who showed us the ropes for the first 45 minutes before we were left to it ourselves. We started a system of putting items on tables and then the last half hour we started to pack the suitcases and bags. Unfortunately, we did not complete the task, but then again there are two more sessions. More to come!
