No SIM-ple solution

Ms V’s computer won’t connect to the internet. She had spoken to the people in the shop where she bought a SIM card and dongle to get internet and they told her they could fix it if she could get the computer to them. That’s where I came in - my job was to pick up the computer etc, take it to the shop, get the problem fixed and return everything to Ms V.

Easy! Except sadly not because there was a problem with the dongle that could not be solved. After several phonecalls and trying out many options to fix the problem, I was forced to return the computer in a still internetless state to Ms V.

Despite the lack of a solution, Ms V was grateful for the help and we were able to think through an alternative way to get internet access for her.
